Katelyn graduated as an RVT in 2018 and has been working in small animal medicine since. She is passionate about many fields of study, including animal behavior, wildlife, and exotic animal medicine. She has a particular interest in anything with feathers, as prior to becoming an RVT, she worked at an aviary and volunteered in wildlife rehabilitation (specifically helping to rehabilitate falcons and owls). She also loves all furry critters, which she has spent the last 7 years dedicating herself to treating. She loves all pocket pets and is always excited when a rabbit comes to the clinic. In her free time, she enjoys playing guitar, double bass, and mandolin. At home, she has a cocker spaniel named Lily, three cats named Mushu, Pancake, and Stardust, a Holland Lop named Pepper, and a Black-Capped Conure named Saki.
